Ammonia will be an important energy carrier to reduce CO2 emissions in the maritime sector, and in previous webinars we learned about support programs for vessels, projects for infrastructure and bunkering solutions for ammonia. There are several methods for utilizing the energy stored in ammonia.

In this webinar, we will get a technical insight into various ammonia technologies for maritime use: Ammonia combustion engine with Wärtsilä, Solid Oxide Fuel Cell with Alma Clean Power and ammonia cracker with Amogy.
It will be possible to ask questions after each presentation.

To accelerate the development of the hydrogen value chain, French companies seek to collaborate with Norwegian entities for technology development and value chain cooperation, especially through EU funds in Horizon Europe and Clean Hydrogen Partnerships.

Enova har lyst ut ny konkurranse om investeringsstøtte til produksjon og infrastruktur for hydrogen som drivstoff til maritim transport.

I dette webinaret vil Enovas rådgivere gå gjennom alt du trenger å vite for å sende inn en søknad. Dette inkluderer gjennomgang av nødvendige dokumentasjon, vedlegg og krav til prosjektene.

Vi anbefaler alle som planlegger å søke om støtte gjennom programmet å melde seg på webinaret.

Det forventes at ammoniakk vil bli en viktig energibærer i årene fremover for å redusere CO2 utslippene i den maritime sektoren. For å sikre at fartøysprosjekter vil bli realisert, har Enova åpnet for søknader for støtteprogrammet «ammoniakk i fartøy», som presentert i tidligere webinar. Enova vil gjennom competative bidding dekke opptil 80% av investeringskostnaden for merkostnader knyttet til ammoniakkdrift vs. Fossil drift, med hensikten om å etablere en fungerende verdikjede for ammoniakk som drivstoff i den maritime sektoren i Norge. I tillegg har også Equinor nylig åpnet for tilbud på nybygg av forsyningsskip som går på ammoniakk.

I tillegg til finansiell, teknisk og organisatorisk modenhet, stiller Enova krav til intensjonserklæringer med relevante aktører for kjøp av ammoniakk og antatt bunkringslokasjoner. I dette webinaret vil vi derfor gi en oversikt og status over planlagte ammoniakkprosjekter i Norge basert på våre databaser, inkludert produksjon, bunkring og fartøy. På agendaen finner vi også Amon Maritime som vil fortelle om bruk av ammoniakk i maritim sektor, og Azane Solutions som forteller mer om bunkring av ammoniakk.

Enova planlegger nytt støtteprogram for hydrogenproduksjon til maritim transport

Enova styrker den spissede satsingen mot å realisere de første lønnsomme verdikjedene for hydrogen innen maritim sektor. En viktig del av denne verdikjeden er produksjon og bunkring av hydrogen. Før programmet endelig vedtas og lanseres, ønsker Enova innspill fra markedet.
Slik ønsker de å sikre at programmet blir treffsikkert. 

Enova inviterer til webinar 20. februar kl. 09:00 - 10:00 for å gå gjennom programmet. I etterkant av webinaret er det mulig å sende de innspill til programmet fram til 1. mars.

Tidligere i høst kunne aktører gi innspill på kriteriene knyttet til de varslede støtteprogrammene for hydrogen og ammoniakkfartøy. Nå er den endelige utlysningen her med søknadsfrist 15.mars 2024. Her vil man konkurrere om investeringsstøtte på opptil 80% av ekstrakostnadene for de grønne delene av skipet. Enova har også varslet to nye støtteprogram for hydrogenknutepunkter og ammoniakkinfrastruktur. Disse gir mulighet for å få dekket opptil 80% av investeringskostnadene.

The Green Industry Forum provides a foundation for French-Norwegian leadership in the green industry shift. It is an arena to further the bilateral dialogue between policy makers, industries, academic and financial institutions and to advance partnerships and cooperations between France and Norway on political, commercial, and industrial levels.

In 2024, there will once again, be a call for significant EU funds for hydrogen-related projects in the EU's Clean Hydrogen Partnership.  

 In total, €113.5 million will be allocated to 20 projects to be announced in January, with an application deadline in April.  

Norwegian companies can apply on par with other European countries for these funds. 

 Ocean Hyway Cluster invites you to a webinar from 09:00 to 10:30 on January 4, 2024, where you will receive information about the calls scheduled for January 2024. You'll gain insights and valuable advice from Innovation Norway's national contact point for these calls, first-hand experiences from Evoy, successful with EU financing in 2021 (EIC Accelerator), and helpful advice from a company with extensive experience in applying for soft funding from the EU, G&H Associates in England. 

 Norwegian companies often succeed with their applications to the EU. In an industry where international collaboration is crucial, the application process provides an opportunity to initiate larger projects with European partners and gain access to major European markets by establishing strong project consortia.  

 In addition to treating the future hydrogen calls, we will also have a short introduction to the EU Hydrogen Bank by ENOVA.

Enova, CINEA and Implements Consulting invites to a webinar that will prepare applicants for the auction “EUIF Deep Dive: The pilot hydrogen auction”,

The webinar will be in english, and is targeted towards employees in Norwegian companies interested in learning more about EU Innovation fund, and is considering to enter an application to future funding schemes. Employees in the Norwegian funding scheme or R&D is also welcome to participate. Unfortunately, employees in consultant agencies that offers services to applications to the EU Innovation Fund cannot participate.

OM PROSJEKTET

Ammonia Fuel Bunkering Network er eit prosjekt som består av samarbeidspartnarane Azane Fuel Solutions, Yara Clean Ammonia, HyEx Safety, Fjord Base, GOT og SINTEF Energy. Prosjektet blei starta i 2021 og har som mål å etablere verdas første verdikjede for ammoniakk som drivstoff. Som del av prosjektet skal verdas første stasjon for fylling av ammoniakk som drivstoff til skip installerast ved Fjord Base i Florø.

Florø og Fjord Base er unikt posisjonert i nærleiken til den indre farlei frå nord til sør og er i dag ein av Norges største offshore forsyningsbasar. Ved å etablere fyllestasjonen i Florø posisjonerer Fjord Base seg for krava som vil komme frå kundar og myndigheiter i framtida.

We see a lot of hydrogen projects that do not make it from the PowerPoint slides. How do you succeed with maritime hydrogen projects, and what technological solutions is suited for the fishing industry? And in what way could maritime projects contribute to the education within new maritime technologies? 

Vestland County recently received founding for the installation of fuel cells on the training vessel M/S Skulebas. The combination of hydrogen fuel cells and batteries on a fishing vessel will be the first of its kind! M/S Skulebas is owned by Vestland County and operated by Måløy Upper Secondary School, and it is expected that the vessel will attract and educate future workforce, giving the younger generation experience within modern technology.  

In this webinar, we will get an insight in the M/S Skulebas project from the project participants. Both basis for the chosen technical solutions and the triggering factors to get the project up running are on the agenda. Stay tuned for more details about the speakers and detailed agenda!

Norsk hydrogennæring kan ta en sentral rolle i det grønne skiftet. Molekyler, teknologi og kompetanse fra Norge er ettertraktet, og vi ses på som en sentral partner til Tyskland og utviklingen av deres hydrogen verdikjede.

Men hvordan skal vi gå fram for å bli faktiske leverandører og samarbeidspartnere, både i Europa, USA og Asia?
