Norwegian Hydrogen will deliver green hydrogen to the world's first hydrogen-powered fishing vessel.

Amogy and Hy2gen Norway have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for cooperation in green ammonia. The agreement includes cooperation to promote the use of green ammonia as maritime fuel, participation in joint development projects and ensure safe use of ammonia on board vessels.

Wärtsilä has introduced the marine sector’s first commercially available 4-stroke engine-based solution for ammonia fuel. The ammonia solution is now commercially available as part of the Wärtsilä 25 engine platform, which was launched in September 2022.

Hy2gen develops large-scale projects to produce green hydrogen and green hydrogen derivates to decarbonize hard-to-abate sectors. We are happy to announce that they have joined the cluster!

The investment will see Fortescue acquire a 12.5 percent ownership interest in Norwegian Hydrogen, becoming the third largest shareholder.

TECO 2030 and Pherousa Green Shipping AS sign green package supply agreement for up to six modern, zero-emission Ultramax dry bulk carriers of about 63.000 deadweight tons each. Each vessel will be equipped with 12 megawatts (MW) of TECO 2030 fuel cells for main propulsion onboard.
