Gen2 Energy and Provaris join forces to develop a large scale European hydrogen supply chain.
The joint initiative between Gen2 Energy and Provaris Energy Ltd aims to conduct a comprehensive prefeasibility study to determine the technical and economic viability of producing and supplying compressed green hydrogen from the hydrogen project in Åfjord to European ports using Provaris’ marine storage and shipping solution.

Gigantic investment in green hydrogen
Norwegian Hydrogen has been working on the development of a large-scale production plant for green hydrogen at Ørskog in Ålesund municipality for a long time. The company now announce the plans for what will become one of the largest production facilities for green hydrogen in the entire Nordic region.

Status Update: Zero Emission Supply Chain
In close collaboration with Equinor and Neptune, Ocean Hyway Cluster has since March 2022 been working on a project called Zero Emission Supply Chain. In this project it has been assessed how value chains passing through Fjord Base in Florø could be decarbonized with new technologies.
